The historic center of Verona is still surrounded by a defensive wall and moat. This is taken from in the moat looking across its length.


This is a not so effective section of the defensive wall. Not that there is much need for it these days.


Many of the building around Piazza Erbe hare covered withfrescos. This is my favorite.
