Ceramic Lessons (below, making a box)

With guidance from Andrea (pictured here with me) and his wife Lucia, Bob and I made a couple of bowls (sort of like the first day of Kindergarten!), a square box and a round one. We learned how to work the clay with our hands and then to roll it out with a big rolling pin. It was so much fun. Their home/studio is on the side of a cliff and looks out to the sea.
