For the festival of the Redentore, lanterns were strung along the Zattere, the long street that faces the Giudecca Canal in the Dorsoduro neighborhood of Venice.

Rosemary is a visual artist from MIlford, Delaware, who practices and teaches watercolor journaling and urban sketching and loves to travel. Her late husband Bob was a gifted photographer, retired firefighter and high school photo teacher. He died in December 2015 after a 2-year battle with cancer. He is sorely missed.
Born in NYC, they lived in Phx, AZ and Italy before settling in Delaware.
