When I looked at these I thought they were tomatoes but when I looked at the sign I discovered that they are a variety of pepperoncini, spicy hot peppers.
When Rosemary saw this photo she said it looks like a cup and saucer. It is an unusual design. Does anyone know why?
Posted 18 November 2006 06:02 I tried to post the following comment about the fishing boat (cup & saucer) on your blog. I signed on to Google and still couldn't post.
Please don't yell at me for the following guess. I think the platform helps stabilize the boat while the pescatore stand(s) up to work the nets.
Rosemary is a visual artist from MIlford, Delaware, who practices and teaches watercolor journaling and urban sketching and loves to travel. Her late husband Bob was a gifted photographer, retired firefighter and high school photo teacher. He died in December 2015 after a 2-year battle with cancer. He is sorely missed.
Born in NYC, they lived in Phx, AZ and Italy before settling in Delaware.
