A visit from our American friends

A couple of weeks ago our friends from Phoenix, Bill and Amy along with their daughter Lillie came to Italy on vacation. They had visited their German exchange student from last year first, in Germany and then Sarah, from Italy. They met us in Verona for dinner and it was wonderful to see them again.

Here's the whole group of us having dinner at an outdoor cafe in Piazza Brà in Verona. That's me on the left with Amy next to me and Bill across from us. Sarah's grandmother is next to Bill with the girls, Lillie and Sarah on the far right. Sarah's boyfriend Matteo is at the far end with his parents sitting next to Amy. It was nice to meet them all and to be able to spend a little time catching up with our friends.
