W...Dear Rosemary, I am truely sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe the sympathy I have for you. I know right now the pain of loosing a part of your adventure is still fresh, but in time it will heal. I like to think and hope that maybe you will find or someone will return your book, but if that does not happen, then I like to think that maybe someone who has it will appreciate the beautiful paintings you have done. Maybe upon seeing them, this person will come to understand how lucky they are to live in such a wonderful place. I know this sounds very childlike, but thinking this way has helped me through losses in my life. You have to remember that although it is a tragety, it is also a time to be be thankful. Things happen for a reason and yes your mother is right...it could always be worse. A broken window can be fixed, a new book made, and with the help of memories, paintings can be re-painted. There are those around you whom I'm sure feel your loss and in a heart beat would gladly help you to recover some of that loss.

I send a prayer of safety your way and hope that you continue to enjoy your time in Sicily.

MonicaMonica Morales, Mike King, & Blue Moraleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11167048868058249947noreply@blogger.com
